SENIOR PASTOR

Hey, I'm Wes Willie

I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Florence since 2016. With over two decades of ministry experience—including roles as youth pastor, music minister, and senior pastor—my heart remains centered on sharing the gospel and shepherding God’s people.

My wife Amanda and I have been married since 2001, and we’re proud empty nesters of 21-year-old twins. Life and ministry have taught me the importance of grace, and I often reflect on 1 Timothy 1:15: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the foremost.”

I’m passionate about helping people discover a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their faith. I believe that God’s Word is the foundation for life and ministry, and I’m committed to preaching truth, loving people, and building a Christ-centered community where everyone is welcome.

Youth PASTOR

Hey, I'm Cole Stovall

I stepped into the role of Youth Pastor at FBC Florence in November of 2025. My deepest passion in student ministry is to see students come to saving faith in Jesus Christ and experience lifelong transformation through the Gospel. Galatians 2:20 captures the heart of my calling: a life fully surrendered to Christ. I believe my most important roles as a student pastor are teaching students to know, love, and apply God’s Word and being present in their lives throughout the week—not just on Wednesdays.

My wife, Sara Grace, and I got married in May of 2025, and we love exploring new restaurants, visiting coffee shops, hiking with our two lively dogs, cooking new meals, and relaxing together.
