Online Giving

Giving and supporting the mission of the church is both a biblical calling and a practical necessity.

1. Biblical Foundation for Giving

From the earliest days of the church, generosity has been central to Christian life. In Acts 2:44–45, believers sold possessions and shared with anyone in need, fueling the spread of the gospel and the care of the body of Christ. Paul encouraged churches to give cheerfully and sacrificially (2 Corinthians 9:6–7), reminding them that their gifts were an act of worship to God, not just charity. When we give, we declare that everything belongs to God and we trust Him as our provider.

2. Fueling the Mission

The mission of the church is clear: to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19–20). This requires resources. Giving allows the church to:

Support ministry workers (1 Timothy 5:17–18) so pastors, missionaries, and staff can devote themselves to the gospel.

Provide spaces for worship and discipleship where the community can gather, learn, and grow.

Meet physical needs as an expression of Christ’s love (James 2:15–16).

Send the gospel beyond our own neighborhood into the nations.

3. Impact on the Believer

Giving isn’t just about what the church receives—it’s about what happens in the heart of the giver. Generosity breaks the grip of materialism and teaches us contentment. Jesus Himself said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). When we invest in the mission of the church, our hearts grow more aligned with God’s purposes.

4. An Invitation to Partnership

Every gift, large or small, becomes part of God’s kingdom story. Paul told the Philippians that their partnership in giving was “a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God” (Philippians 4:18). Supporting the church’s mission is not just a donation—it’s joining in God’s work, making an eternal impact that far outlasts our earthly resources.
